Marie Ganz Under Arrest; “Mourners” Continue Picketing

NEW YORK, May 2—Demonstrations yesterday against John D. Rockefeller. Jr. because of his attitude in the Colorado strike situation were unmarked by disturbances of moment, the chief development of the day being the arrest of Marie Ganz the Industrial Workers of the World orator, whose repeated threats against Mr. Rockefeller in speeches and otherwise had been brought to the police attention.

Her threats were not made the direct basis of the charges against her, the being the fame as that under which Upton Sinclair was fined recently after taking part in. his "Free Silence League" demonstrations outside the Rockefeller offices--a section of the law making it a misdemeanor to create a disturbance by acts or language in a public place.
