WOMAN ANARCHIST ON HUNGER STRIKE

NEW YORK, - July 21.—Having quieted the mutinous male prisoners on Blackwell's Island, Commissioner of Prisons Catherine Davis today had a hunger striker on her hands. Reba Edelson, associated with the anarchist group, headed by Alexander Berkman, was removed from the Tombs to the workhouse early today and at that time had not broken the hunger strike she declared yesterday.

Miss Edelson was sentenced to the workhouse for refusal to furnish $300 bail to keep the peace for three months.
