I.W.W. WOMAN IS JAILED

Judge Sentences Jane Est to Three Months in Cell

New York, June 11--Jane Est, an Industrial Worker of the World leader, was sentenced to a term of three months in the workhouse on Blackwell's Island for disturbing a religious meeting of the Peace Forum. Frank Urban, a speaker at the meeting, testified that she tried to strike him when he refused to permit her to address the assemblage. Miss Est, who took an active part in the descent on the churches last winter, was arrested in April after a disturbance in Doctor Parkhurst's church.
