I.W.W. Girl Leader Heads Needlework Strikers In New York
NEW YORK-—In retaliation for the locking out of 60,000 workers in the cloak and suit industry here, the allied unions have called a strike and between 40,000 and 60,000 workers have left their machines. The strikers are headed by Miss Becky Edelson, an I . W. W. girl agitator, who led the strikers in the May Day parade. Miss Edelson, has been active in former strikes in the needlework industries.
